Seattle, WA — In response to high demand, the Seattle Bach Festival is adding two more screenings of the acclaimed documentary Living Bach. The film will be shown at the historic Edmonds Theater on Saturday, November 9, and at the Grand Cinema in Tacoma on Sunday, November 10. Each screening will include a live Bach performance and conclude with a community sing-and-play of “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.”
Living Bach captures the global influence of Johann Sebastian Bach’s music, following musicians worldwide who find solace and inspiration in his compositions. From Japan to South Africa, the documentary reveals how Bach’s works transcend cultural boundaries, uniting people with a shared love for his music.
Tickets are $15 and up, with proceeds supporting the Seattle Bach Festival’s inaugural season.
