"'Shadows' is one of my most vulnerable tracks, themed on depression," Adams explains. "It's one of those tracks that doesn't necessarily sound sad, but harbors dark lyrics. It speaks to the confliction of feeling the need to suppress your feelings, hence the lyrics 'drowning in the shadows'." The accompanying music video intricately portrays the repetitive nature of everyday life, with symbolic imagery highlighting the struggle with depression. Adams is passionate about mental health awareness, aiming for the video to resonate with those facing similar battles and perhaps inspire them to channel their pain into creativity.

"Shadows" captivates with its beautiful flow, drawing listeners in with its smooth bassline and keeping them hooked with crunchy guitars, pure harmonies, and glistening energy.
