Blues Fans Beware: Steve Young is Here For a Good Time with ‘Feelin Fine’

Artist: Steve Young Single: Feelin’ Fine Genre: Blues, Classic Rock, Country Release Date: February 29, 2024

I’d bet Steve Young is a tone guy. The kind of guy you can chat with about guitar pedals for hours. That’s what I like about Steve. However, it's worth noting that if you engage him in a conversation about pedals, he might tell you, "I put my phone on DND" (presumably do not disturb) as he mentions in the track. The music video for his newest single, ‘Feelin’ Alright,’ perfectly captures his ethos of letting loose and having a good time, which is certainly worth at least one watch–I’ve watched it a few times already.

There are no attempts here to be current, cool, or modern; instead, Steve stays true to his roots and delivers his own version of bluesy classic rock that sits right at home in a dive bar. Capricious, indeed.

In addition to his musical prowess, Steve's collaborations have seen him sharing the stage with icons like Eurythmics founder Dave Stewart, with whom he performed a special acoustic version of 'Sweet Dreams.' With such authenticity and talent, 'Feelin Alright' transcends being just a song; it's an experience worth savoring, promising an electrifying journey, and just an all around good time.

Truly, Steve Young is worth checking out if you like guitar solos, blues riffs, and not taking yourself too seriously.
